Laura Helmreich is an experienced project engineer and estimator with a strong background in structural steel fabrication and erection. Currently employed at Lenex Steel Company since November 2020, Laura Helmreich oversees projects from estimating through completion, collaborating closely with shop and field foremen to manage material orders and deliveries. Prior experience includes a role as project engineer at Sigma Metals Inc from June 2018 to October 2020, and serving as lead editor for the University of Colorado - Colorado Springs Undergraduate Research Journal from February 2017 to May 2018. Laura Helmreich holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, completed in 2018, and also studied at Pikes Peak State College from 2013 to 2015.
