韦衞 David Wei

David Wei serves as the CEO of Lenovo Core Semiconductor Ltd. since 2016, where responsibilities include building and funding the business, as well as overseeing operations, R&D, and product marketing for Storage, Controller, and Memory products. Additionally, David has been with Lenovo since 1999, holding positions such as Vice President and Distinguished Engineer, focusing on SoC design, team formation, and strategic project management. Notably, David led the development of China's first Android smartphone from 2007 to 2011, contributed to PC and system innovations from 2005 to 2007, and played a key role in developing top-tier firewall solutions and the first TPM security chip in China from 1999 to 2005.
