Tom Sheffler is a renowned system architect and builder with over two decades of experience in transforming innovative ideas into practical solutions. Currently researching AI and Agentic systems, they have previously worked on high-performance computing and digital health initiatives. As a charter member of Ecma TC-56, Tom focuses on developing secure interoperability standards for Agentic systems and contributes to open-source AI platforms. Their significant accomplishments include pioneering a cloud-based genomic analysis platform at Roche and leading the creation of the world's fastest DRAM technology at Rambus. Tom holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and has an extensive record of publications and patents.
