Gary Gray

Gary Gray is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development within the medical technology field. Currently serving as the Director of Research at LENSAR Inc. since 2004, Gary is responsible for software development and research related to the Lensar femtosecond cataract laser system. Previously, Gary was the Associate Technical Director at Alcon Labs from January 1995 to March 2004, contributing to the company following its acquisition of Autonomous Technologies and receiving the Alcon Technical Excellence Award for developing a wavefront abberometer. Earlier in Gary's career, from September 1984 to March 1995, Gary worked as a Guidance and Control Engineer at Thorn EMI Electronics, where responsibilities included systems design for missile guidance simulations and antenna gimbal control. Gary holds a degree from Queen Mary University of London.
