John E. Decker

John E. Decker has extensive experience in aerospace engineering and management, primarily with NASA, where John E. held multiple key roles over nearly four decades. Currently, at Lentech, Inc., John serves as a Subject Matter Expert focusing on mechanical systems for the Hubble Space Telescope Operations Project. Prior positions at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center include Emeritus Advisor, Management Consultant, Associate Director, and Deputy Project Manager for the James Webb Space Telescope, demonstrating John’s significant leadership in program management and technical innovation. Earlier career experience with Bechtel Power Corporation involved leading engineering efforts for seismic and dynamic analysis in nuclear power. John holds a Master of Science degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania, enhancing a strong educational foundation in engineering and fine arts.
