Michael Majarov

VP, IT Solutions at Lentech

Michael Majarov is the vice president of IT Solutions at Lentech, Inc. He brings over 25 years of IT operations and engineering experience to Lentech. In his current role, Mr. Majarov is responsible for developing and executing strategies to position Lentech as a leader in cloud solutions and services. Mr. Majarov has captured partnerships with Amazon and Akamai, two of the first cloud-hosting suppliers to become FedRAMP certified.

Prior to his vice president role at Lentech, Inc., Mr. Majarov excelled for three years at Lentech as director of hosting services. In this role, he was responsible for growing Lentech hosting and IT business line from Lentech’s stand-up to where it is today. He helped secure and operate the Health and Human Services Office of Information Technology Infrastructure and Operations (ITIO) hosting contract, growing the contract from $300 thousand to over $1 million in annual revenue.

Previously, Mr. Majarov spent five years with SAVVIS, a global hosting and data center provider. While at SAVVIS, Michael was the director of the solution engineering, supporting the sale of hosting, co-location, network, and content delivery. Mr. Majarov helped create SAVVIS Federal Systems (SFS), which brought SAVVIS services to the Federal market; including launching these services onto GSA IT Schedule 70. Mr. Majarov oversaw the federal sales engineering team and provided product development and placement for the federal market.

Mr. Majarov has also held several management and technical positions at companies supporting both the commercial and Federal marketplace. Some of the highlights include: technical consultant to the commander in charge of IT services for the Joint Chiefs of Staff, senior manager for product development, and team lead of scanning operations for the Chicago Tribune Project.
