Tom Mathias has a diverse work experience spanning various leadership positions in the technology and manufacturing industry. Tom is currently the President & CEO of Lenze Americas Corporation since 2022. Prior to that, they served as the President & CEO of Omron Robotics and Safety Technologies from 2016 to 2021. Tom also held the position of General Manager at Omron Europe in 2015 and was the Business Unit Manager at Parker Hannifin from 2013 to 2015. Before that, Tom was the President of FANUC Europe from 2006 to 2012 and also served as the President of FANUC Europe from 2006 to 2009. Tom began their career at GE in 1997, starting with roles in Sales & Marketing and then progressing to Branch Manager from 2004 to 2006. Tom also participated in the Experienced Commercial Leadership Program (ECLP) at GE from 2002 to 2004.
Tom Mathias completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University at Buffalo from 1993 to 1997. During their undergraduate studies, they also participated in a Study Abroad Program at the Technical University of Munich from 1995 to 1996, focusing on the same field of study.
