Bernhard Lintner

Vice President Global Quality, Environment, Safety And Health at Lenzing Group

Bernhard Lintner has extensive work experience in the field of quality, environment, safety, and health. Bernhard served as the Vice President of Global Quality, Environment, Safety, and Health at Lenzing Group from 2011 to the present, where they developed a global strategy and provided guidance to the company's sites. Bernhard also restructured and aligned the organization to support strategy implementation and prepare for SAP S4 HANA implementation.

Prior to that, from 2014 to 2020, Lintner held the position of Vice President of Global Safety, Health, and Environment at Lenzing Group. In this role, they developed a global strategy, initiated a safety cultural change initiative, and restructured the organization to support the strategy implementation.

Before joining Lenzing Group, Lintner worked at South Pacific Viscose, PT. as the Head of Safety, Health, and Security from 2004 to 2006. Bernhard led the implementation of environmental, health, and safety management systems and successfully reorganized the security department.

Lintner's earlier roles include being a Process Manager in the Spinbath Department at South Pacific Viscose from 2001 to 2003, a Trainer & Course Instructor for Chemical Engineering at BZL - Bildungszentrum Lenzing GmbH from 2001 to 2003, a Team Leader / Supervisor in the Spinning Department at Lenzing Group from 1999 to 2001, and an Operator in the Spinning Department at Lenzing Group from 1997 to 1998.

Bernhard Lintner received a Master of Science in Engineering - MSc in Innovations- und Produktmanagement from the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria from 2009 to 2011. Bernhard also obtained a Bachelor of Science in Engineering - BSc in Innovations- und Produktmanagment from the same university from 2006 to 2009. Prior to their university education, they completed a Chemielabortechniker Lehre at Wirtschaftskammer OÖ in 2003 and a Werkmeister für Technische Chemie at BFI Oberösterreich in 1999. In 1997, they completed a Chemiewerkerlehre at Wirtschaftskammer OÖ.
