Simon Schick

Simon Schick is a doctoral candidate at the Aachen-Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials, where they have conducted research into biobased polymers for staple fibers for over four years. With a strong commitment to sustainable material development, Simon aims to advance innovative solutions in the field of fiber products. Previously, Simon worked as a Grad Research Assistant at NC State University, where they focused on face mask testing, and held positions at LANXESS and Groz-Beckert. They hold a Master of Science in Management of Textile Trade and Technology from Hochschule Niederrhein and continue to contribute to the textile industry through their role at Lenzing Group.
