Lars Green began their career at Novo Nordisk in 1999 as Director of Finance and IT. In 2001, they were promoted to Vice President of Corporate Financial Planning, and in 2004, they became Senior Vice President of Finance. From 2014 to 2017, Green served as Senior Vice President at Novo Nordisk before becoming Executive Vice President in 2017. Lars held this position until 2019 when they left to join Leo Pharma as a Board Member.

At Leo Pharma, Green is responsible for the financial wellbeing of the company. Lars works with the CEO to develop long-term financial goals and strategies and provides oversight of the finance team. In addition, they are responsible for ensuring compliance with all financial regulations.

Lars Green has a M.Sc. in Business Administration from the Aarhus School of Business, a Strategic Leadership Program from Harvard Business School, a Board Academy from Plesner / University of Copenhagen, a Program for Pharmaceutical Executives from Wharton/Windhover, and a PED in Program for Executive Development from IMD (International Institute for Management Development) - Business Programs.
