Steven Hellmann

Steven Hellmann is a Mechanical Engineer II at Leonardo DRS since April 2019, where responsibilities include concept development, opto-mechanical design, and vibration modal analysis using Creo. Prior experience includes serving as a Product Development Engineer at Embraer from December 2015 to April 2019, focusing on design and cost-reduction for aircraft parts. Steven also has volunteered with Catholic Youth Expeditions, ensuring participant safety during outdoor activities, and completed an internship at the Center for Advanced Turbomachinery and Energy Research, where tasks involved assembling components for turbine testing. Earlier experience as a student on the mechanical design team for FIRST Robotics Team 1902 involved designing a versatile robot. Steven holds a degree from the University of Central Florida, completed in 2015.
