Al Cameron

Al Cameron is a seasoned Functional Lead in Systems Engineering with extensive experience in avionics systems for both ground and airborne military operations. Having contributed over 30 years as an avionics specialist, Al has held various leadership roles, including serving as a Trials and Projects Manager and Community Engagement Officer with the Royal Air Force. Currently enrolled at The Open University, Al continues to develop their expertise while leading teams in high-pressure environments and fostering partnerships across diverse groups. Prior experience includes mentoring, quality assurance, and extensive field engineering on platforms like the Sentry AEW and Tornado GR1/4.
