Amelia Stanton

Amelia Stanton is an experienced mechanical engineer currently serving as the Site Lead of Additive Manufacturing at Leonardo since August 2022, following roles as a mechanical engineer and graduate mechanical engineer. With a background that includes a summer internship at the Initiative & Institute for Interstellar Studies, Amelia organized the Interstellar Engineering Summer Course while enhancing the organization's social media outreach and member diversity. Previous experiences include internships at the International Space Elevator Consortium and Merlin Process Software Ltd, where Amelia gained practical skills in coding and design. Amelia holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Heriot-Watt University, where academic pursuits spanned from 2017 to 2022. Additional experience includes a team member role at THE REGAL CINEMA EVESHAM LIMITED and an office assistant position at the British Interplanetary Society.
