Andrew Yates

Andrew Yates is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in sustainability reporting, financial management, and project accounting. Currently serving as the Sustainability Controller at Leonardo since February 2018, Andrew ensures compliance with ESG metrics and social value initiatives. Prior roles at Leonardo included Finance Manager, where responsibilities centered on pricing, analysis, and financial management for bids, and various capacities as Project Accountant leading financial operations for Homeland Security and integrated systems projects. Prior to Leonardo, Andrew held a senior position at BAE Systems from June 2012 to January 2018, providing financial oversight for Ship Upkeeps and managing project contracts through their lifecycle. Andrew holds an ACCA degree in Accounting and Finance and an AAT degree in Accounting Technology/Technician and Bookkeeping from BPP.
