Andy Box has extensive experience in the defense and aerospace sectors, currently serving as Head of Capability / CTO for Support & Service Solutions at Leonardo since November 2007, where responsibilities include applied research and oversight of military availability contracts and decision support tools. Prior to this role, Andy served as Capability Manager, focusing on technology and solution development related to output-based contracting. Previous experience includes serving as Head of Supportability for the Joint Strike Fighter Program at the US Department of Defense from August 2003 to July 2007 and a distinguished career as a Wing Commander and Aircraft Engineering Officer in the Royal Air Force from 1986 to 2007, which included leading a lean logistics transformation team for Harrier support. Andy holds an MA in Defence Studies from King's College London and a BSc in Electronic Engineering and Defence Studies from the University of Dundee.
