Ben van Buul is an Independent Technical Authority with extensive experience in engineering and safety. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Leonardo since 2022, they previously held roles as a Safety Engineer at GE Aviation from 2018 to 2022 and as a Principal Safety Engineer at BAE Systems from 2013 to 2018. Ben also worked as a RAMS Engineer at EADS APSYS from 2010 to 2013. They earned a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from Kingston University (2005-2009) and a Master's degree in Nuclear Safety Engineering from Lancaster University with Merit (2015-2017).
