Fabio Giani

Fabio Giani is an experienced professional with over 15 years in strategic sourcing, procurement, and engineering within the aerospace and semiconductor industries. Currently serving as Head of Electrical, Avionic and Mission Systems - Sourcing & Contracting at Leonardo since September 2008, responsibilities include managing supplier selection, ITAR and Export compliance, and negotiating complex contracts. Fabio has held various roles at Leonardo, including Engine Installations Manager and Commodity Specialist for turboshaft engines and electrical power systems, focusing on cost reduction and collaboration with engineering teams. Previous experience at STMicroelectronics involved defectivity reduction engineering for advanced memory technologies, contributing to process improvement and equipment monitoring. Fabio holds a degree in Electronics Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and began education in industrial electronics at ITIS Bernocchi.
