Fabio Ruta is currently the Head of Advanced Research Programs at Leonardo Aircraft Division, focusing on advanced research for both manned and unmanned military and civil aircraft technologies. Prior to this role, Fabio was the Head of SESAR Project and New Military Initiatives at Alenia Aermacchi, responsible for research and development in various aerospace and aviation sectors. Fabio also served as SESAR Programme Manager at Alenia Aeronautica, overseeing technical, economical, administrative, and legal aspects of the SESAR program at a European level. Fabio holds a Laurea in Aerospaziale from Politecnico di Torino, earned in 2008.
