Johnny Black

Johnny Black is currently a Lead Stress Engineer at Leonardo, bringing over 25 years of experience in aero-engines and airframe analysis. Previously, they held the position of Lead Engineer at Belcan from 2005 to 2021, where they specialized in whole engine modeling and various components including compressor casings and turbine systems. Their engineering journey also includes key roles at Rolls-Royce, Volvo Aero, and European Gas Turbines Limited, focusing on stress analysis in complex systems. Johnny is pursuing education at Heriot-Watt University.
