Mark Burnand is currently the Chief Test Pilot at Leonardo Helicopters UK, a position held since 2019. Previously, they served as Deputy Chief Test Pilot and gained substantial experience as a Helicopter Pilot with HM Forces from 1992 to 2010. Mark also contributed to the field as a Test Pilot Tutor at the Empire Test Pilots’ School between 2007 and 2010. They are a graduate of the Rotary Wing Graduate Course at the Empire Test Pilots’ School.
