Matthew Dilley

Matthew Dilley has a robust background in safety engineering and management, currently serving as the Head of Safety for Sensors ISP at Leonardo since October 2025. Prior experience includes a significant role as Safety Engineering Discipline Lead at Thales from September 2021 to September 2025, where Matthew led safety teams and managed safety assurance for major underwater systems projects. Additional experience encompasses positions at Ebeni Ltd as a Senior Safety Engineer and a variety of key roles at Atkins, including Senior Safety and Supportability Engineer and Project Manager for notable projects such as Network Rail's ORBIS Project. Matthew began his career as an Industrial Placement Student at Dstl and holds a Master of Engineering degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Brunel University of London.
