Michael Cooper

Michael Cooper is an experienced professional in communications and public affairs, currently serving as the Head of Institutional Relations & Communications for Leonardo Helicopters Division in the United States since 2018. Prior to this role, Michael held the position of Senior Vice President & Regional Director of Public Affairs at Citizens Bank, where responsibilities included community outreach and philanthropic initiatives across multiple states. Additional experience includes directing the Office of Manufacturing & Industry for the City of Philadelphia, where Michael oversaw economic and workforce development, as well as serving as Vice President of Market Development at PIDC, focusing on business retention and attraction. Earlier in Michael's career, roles included an analyst position at the School District of Philadelphia and a special projects assistant role at Foundations, Inc. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Penn State University and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Administration from Widener University.
