Mick Lowry

Mick Lowry has over 38 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and engineering, starting a 22-year career as an Aircraft Technician Mechanical with the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers from May 1984 to May 2006. Following this, Mick held various managerial roles at Leonardo, including Apache Contractor Maintenance Manager and Wildcat Base Maintenance Manager, from July 2016 to October 2017. Additionally, experience in civil helicopter maintenance was gained at AgustaWestland AAS SA in Belgium, while training for CAA B1.3 license from July 2015 to September 2022. Mick also served as a Flight Manager at AgustaWestland from May 2011 to September 2022, leading a multi-skilled engineering team for Mk 3 SAR Sea Kings and handling various responsibilities such as personnel management and engineering planning. Earlier roles included working as a self-employed heating engineer and a project assistant at Aviation Requirements, supporting the AgustaWestland Apache IOS Bid Team from February 2008 to December 2009.
