Rui Costa has extensive experience in the aviation industry, beginning as an Aircraft Pilot Student with the Portuguese Air Force from November 2002 to February 2004, where skills in flight operations and training were developed. After serving as an Appliances & Project Engineer at Centauro Internacional from July 2004 to June 2006, Rui Costa progressed to various roles including Maintenance Aeronautical Technician and Senior Field Representative with Avincis Mission Critical Services from September 2011 to February 2013. Subsequently, a position as Coordinator & Lecturer with the Education Ministry was held from September 2009 to September 2011. Rui Costa then transitioned to Babcock International Group, serving as Type Training Instructor and CAMO from March 2013 to August 2019, and currently works as a Type Training Instructor for Leonardo since October 2019, specializing in AW139 and AB412 aircraft. Rui Costa holds a Licentiate degree in Aeronautics from Universidade da Beira Interior and a bachelor's degree in Mechanics from Dr. Federico Rivero Palacio University Institute of Technology.
