Stephen Williams

VP Capability/CTO, Major Air Programmes

Stephen Williams is currently the VP Capability/CTO for Major Air Programmes at Leonardo, where they bring extensive experience in both military and aeronautical engineering. They previously served as the Head of Capability for Major Air Programmes at Leonardo. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Bristol and a Master of Science (MSc) in Aerodynamics from Cranfield University. They also completed advanced military training through the Joint Command and Staff Programme at the Canadian Forces College and multi-national test pilot training at the Empire Test Pilot School. Their career includes key roles in the Royal Air Force, including the Officer Commanding of the No.17(R) Test & Evaluation Squadron and the Typhoon Requirements Manager.
