Tom Pitchforth

Vice President Of Electronics Engineering

Tom Pitchforth serves as the Vice President of Electronics Engineering at Leonardo since November 2015, where responsibilities include heading Engineering Improvement & Governance and Model Driven Engineering while promoting reusability across projects. Previously, Tom was a Quantitative Research Manager at Tcam Asset Management, overseeing the design and migration of a custom IT platform from December 2012 to October 2015. Prior experience includes a Lead Engineer role at Selex Galileo, where Tom specialized in digital processing, including notable contributions to firmware design and image processing systems for UAVs. Tom holds a Master of Engineering with Merit in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Heriot-Watt University and a SYS degree in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from Mackie Academy.
