William Coventry is currently a Lead Systems Engineer at Leonardo, having held various engineering positions within the company since 2022. They graduated with a first-class MEng and BEng in Electronic Engineering and Nanotechnology from the University of Leeds in 2016, where they received the IEEE prize for the best undergraduate project in telecommunications. As a PhD student at the University of Strathclyde, they specialize in sensor signal processing for defense applications and have won an award for best paper at the 2017 Sensor Signal Processing for Defence conference. William Coventry aims to complete their doctoral studies in March 2020.
