Markus Kaessbohrer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project and program management, particularly in the automotive sector. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at LEONI since July 2015, Markus has successfully led operations restructuring efforts, which included the elimination of six factories and the construction of two new ones. Prior roles at LEONI included Senior Program Auditor and Senior Program Manager, where responsibilities encompassed in-depth audits of major projects and management of the most profitable project in the company, respectively. Prior to joining LEONI, Markus held various positions at TRW, progressing from European Cost Accountant to Senior Programme Manager, overseeing global launches and significant turnover projects. Markus began a career in finance, serving as CFO for a joint venture in China and honed skills in strategic planning and profitability management. Markus holds a Diplom-Kaufmann degree from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and dual MBA degrees from Carnegie Mellon University and Université Paris Dauphine.
