Vice President Business Segment Automotive Cables at LEONI

Rainer Hertzke's work experience includes various roles at Leoni, starting in 1994 with the position of Team Supervisor Sales. Rainer then worked as a Sales Manager Key Accounts Automotive and later became the Sales Director of the Strategic Business Unit Automotive. In 2006, they were promoted to Vice President of the Business Segment Automotive Cables. In 2010, they became a Vice President and Member of the Board, a position they held until February 2019. During their time at Leoni, they also served as the Managing Director of LEONI Wire and Cable Solutions Japan from 2012 to 2016. Prior to working at Leoni, they were an Application Engineer at Staedtler Mars GmbH, where they focused on pen developments with plotter OEMs in Japan.

Rainer Hertzke earned a Dipl. Ing degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georg-Simon Ohm Fachhochschule in Nuremberg, Germany, from 1981 to 1986.
