Wendy Wang

Director Of System Engineering at Leopard Imaging

Wendy Wang has over 15 years of professional experience in the semiconductor industry. Wendy began their career in 2004 as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Micron Imaging. In 2008, they joined Hynix Semiconductor America as a Digital Design Engineer, where they designed the digital block of a low voltage, high-performance, 1/3.2-inch 8 Megapixel CMOS sensor operating at 15fps full resolution and 60fps 720p with HDR option. Wendy also designed the ISP of a 60fps HDR WVGA sensor for automotive application. In 2011, they moved to Samsung Semiconductor Inc. as a Staff Digital Design Engineer, where they designed the digital block of TOF 3D sensors operating at 120fps and implemented the ambient light cancellation scheme. From 2014 to 2019, they worked at MEMS Drive Inc. as a Director of System Engineering and Principal Systems Design Engineer. During this time, they led the system group to develop a novel high performance 5-axis OIS system with small form factor for mobile phone cameras using MEMS actuator. In 2019, they joined Leopard Imaging Inc. as the Director of System Engineering, where they work with customers to propose solutions and define specifications for camera systems.

Wendy Wang's education history includes a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jilin University, which they obtained in 1998. Wendy then went on to obtain a Master of Arts degree in Physics from the University of Southern California in 2002, followed by a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution in 2003.
