Founded in 2020 by Nikolaus and Valerie Leopold, LEOPOLD Fine Arts continues the tradition of expertise in Austrian art from the 19th to the 21st century - a legacy begun by their grandfather, the renowned art collector and museum founder Rudolf Leopold.

At LEOPOLD Fine Arts, we offer discerning and personalised guidance for collectors and art lovers. At the core of our work is the discreet acquisition and sale of carefully selected artworks of enduring cultural and collector’s significance. We accompany you with dedicated support in all matters relating to collections and artworks, including detailed provenance research. Integrity, diligence and an unwavering commitment to the highest artistic and art-historical standards define our approach. In the uncompromising spirit of Rudolf Leopold, we are equally dedicated to fostering the careers of emerging contemporary artists and curators.

Our expertise in the art market centres on the vibrant artistic developments in Vienna around 1900. This includes works by Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt and Oskar Kokoschka, as well as outstanding works by leading Austrian artists such as Koloman Moser, Alfred Kubin, Richard Gerstl, Albin Egger-Lienz, Max Oppenheimer, Anton Kolig, Emil Jakob Schindler, Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller, Franz Sedlacek and Rudolf Wacker.
