Stephane Canet has extensive experience in the field of beach volleyball, currently serving as Organisateur and Promoteur at Beach Masters since May 2005, as well as holding the position of Préparateur mental for Montpellier Beach Volley since January 2019. Canet also serves as Président and Consultant for L'EQUIPE since June 2016, providing specialized commentary for beach volleyball matches. Previously, Canet was the National Men's Coach at the French Volleyball and Beach Volleyball Federation from February 2013 to August 2019, where responsibilities included establishing the French beach volleyball teams for the Rio 2016 Olympic qualification. Prior to this, Canet worked as a sports manager for Montpellier Beach Volley from January 2005 to January 2013 and as a professional player with FIVB from 1997 to 2005, also competing as an Olympic athlete at the Athens Games in 2004. Educational qualifications include a Brevet d'état 2ème degré in volleyball from CREPS de Montpellier (1998-1999) and specialized training in high-level beach volleyball in Joao Pessoa, Brazil (2006).
