New Person

New Person is the current Assistant Vice President at LERN. New Person has been with LERN since 1981, when they were able to go full time with the company. Prior to joining LERN, New Person worked for Kansas State University from January 1976 to December 1978 as a Coordinator for Continuing Education. During their time at Kansas State University, New Person focused on free universities and worked with the University for Man. From 1978 to 1981, New Person worked directly for University for Man doing outreach work in setting up free universities in small towns in Kansas and Missouri. In 1981, the Free University Network became LERN and New Person has been with the company ever since.

New Person has a Masters in Adult Education from The George Washington University and a B.A. in Sociology from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
