Simon Beetschen

Simon Beetschen is an accomplished technical director with extensive experience in theatrical production and lighting design. Currently serving as the technical director at Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal since September 2019, Simon has previously held similar positions at Festival RTA, UBU compagnie de création, Festival Les Coups de Théâtre, and Lune Rouge. With a foundation in electrical installation and industrial electronics from Centre formation professionnel Genève, Simon's education includes a degree in production from the École nationale de théâtre du Canada. Simon's career highlights also include significant roles in lighting management and technical direction for various festivals and productions, showcasing a strong commitment to excellence in the performing arts.
