Les Volumineuses is an international female-powered collective that envisions a fairer art scene in Brussels. To get there we acknowledge the issue with under-representation within the sector, self-censorship, and institutionalized censorship. 

We strongly believe that promoting minority role models will empower the audience and encourage some participants to consider a career in the artistic and cultural field whether it be as an artist or in organizational, coordination, or leadership positions. We want to inspire the public to (re)discover the existence of skilled and talented female professionals in the music industry who are too often invisible.
