The mission of Lesson Study Alliance is to promote and support the effective use of lesson study to improve K-12 teaching and learning, especially in math and science.

Lesson study uses the planning, teaching, observation, and discussion of a live classroom lesson as the engine of professional growth. It has a long history in Japan and is being used by a growing number of schools and school districts in the U.S. and around the world.

We offer conferences, workshops, presentations, and facilitation of curriculum design and research lessons.

Visit the Chicago Lesson Study Group website for more information.
