Angela Haynes is an experienced music educator currently serving as the Interim Elementary Music Teacher at Erving Elementary School since November 2023. With a diverse background in music instruction, Angela has held roles at Lessonface as a Music Professional since July 2020 and previously taught at QUABOAG REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT from September 2021 to June 2023, and Petersham Center School from August 2006 to June 2022. Angela's expertise encompasses directing instrumental and general music, jazz theory, vocal techniques, and creative composition, utilizing methods such as Orff and Kodaly. Angela holds a Master’s Degree in Music Performance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2009-2011) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the same institution (1984-1989).
