Brian McDonie

Brian McDonie currently serves as a Project Manager at the Indiana University Center for Rural Engagement and a Guitar Teacher at Guitars For Vets, Inc., both positions held since July 2021. Additionally, Brian works as a Financial Aid Assistant at Ivy Tech Community College since February 2021, and as a Composer and Owner at Opus One since October 2020. Brian has also been involved in music education as a Music Teacher at Lessonface since March 2020 and is a Musician with the Air National Guard Band of the Midwest since 2020. Previously, Brian served as a Musician in the United States Marine Corps from January 2016 to 2020. Education includes a Doctorate of Music in progress at Indiana University Bloomington, a Master's degree in Music Performance from the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and a Bachelor's degree in Music Education and Music Performance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
