Letšeng Diamonds (Pty) Ltd was incorporated in Lesotho in 1995.  It is headquartered at Letšeng Diamonds House, corner Old School and Kingsway Roads in Maseru, Lesotho. The Mining lease for Letšeng Diamond Mine was granted in 1999. The mine operations are located at an altitude of 3275m above sea level in the north-eastern district of Mokhotlong in Lesotho.  Letšeng’s vision is to be a diamond company respected globally for optimising shareholder value through quality diamond processes, products and social responsibility. Its mission is to optimise shareholder value and be a safe and sustainable producer of exceptional diamonds. Its values include continual improvement in the HSE management programme and in operational performance, efficient use of natural resources and 
zero harm to people and property and reduce impact on the environment.
