Ferkan Metin has a diverse work experience in various industries. ferkan started their career in 2015 as a Marketing Coordinator at ESN Delft, where they served until 2016. In 2015, they also worked as a 3D Print Expert at 3D Hubs.

In 2016, Ferkan became a Content Manager at GIJS Automotive and later co-founded a company called aeuoeu, where they served as a Co-founder and Creative Director. At aeuoeu, they were responsible for web development, designing garments, and managing social media. The clothing they designed was sold in multiple stores across the country. In 2017, Ferkan worked as a Video Editor at Plaxis BV.

From 2017 to 2019, Ferkan worked at LJS Apple Dealer, first as a Sales Representative and then as a Frontend Web Developer. In 2019, they joined Vanderlande as a Product Designer, acquiring knowledge in the airport industry and collaborating with various stakeholders.

Since 2019, Ferkan has been working at Envision, initially as a User Experience Researcher and later transitioning to the role of Product Designer. Currently, they hold the position of Product Manager. Overall, Ferkan has gained extensive experience in product management, design, user experience research, web development, marketing, and content creation throughout their career.

Ferkan Metin's education history begins with their primary education at Basisschool De Toorts, which they attended from 1996 to 2006. After completing their primary education, they enrolled in Liemers College from 2006 to 2012, where they obtained their VWO degree. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial and Product Design at Delft University of Technology, graduating in 2016. During their undergraduate studies, Ferkan also participated in a Minor Abroad/Erasmus program at Middle East Technical University from 2014 to 2015. As an extension of their education, they then pursued a Pre-master in Computer Science at Delft University of Technology in 2017. Finally, Ferkan achieved a Master's degree in Design for Interaction from Delft University of Technology, which they completed between 2018 and 2020.
