Mike Tesar

Mike Tesar is the CTO of LetsGetChecked, a social e-commerce platform powered by mobile phone payments. Mike has previously served as the Chief Technology Officer of PayMins.com and the Chief Technology Architect of ezetop.

At ezetop, Mike was responsible for leading direct integrations into 150 international mobile operators in over 70 countries across Asia Pacific, Africa, the Caribbean, Central/Latin America and Europe. Mike also managed technology teams that were structured into: Integrations, Infrastructure, Development, QA and Data Warehouse.

Mike has extensive experience in developing and scaling platforms. Mike was the first technical hire at ezetop and developed the world’s first international mobile top up platform. The platform scaled from processing a handful to over 40,000 transactions a day and won Deloitte’s ‘Fast 50’ Rising Star Award in 2010.

The modular design of the platform allowed for rapid online integration of distributors and mobile operators of various levels of difficulties in a timely fashion and with minimal resources.

Mike Tesar has a degree in economics from Nottingham Trent University and a degree in computer science from the College of New Caledonia. Mike also attended Gymnázium Havlíčkův Brod.
