Leukemia Crusaders (A Unit of BansiVidya Memorial Trust) was formed in 2012 soon after Monica & Arvind Vohra’s younger son (Aaryan) was diagnosed with Blood Cancer in July 2011. The Trust provides bridge funds for treatment of under privileged/needy Children affected by Blood Cancer (Leukemia).
We are committed towards bringing about a significant change in the treatment of Leukemia affected children in India. Statistics shows that current standard survival rate in the developed world is as high as 80-90% whereas in India we stand at a low of approx.33%.
From the first girl child supported in Nov 2013 at Apollo Hospital, Delhi we have come a long way, having supported 5000 plus children in more than 50 hospitals across 18 states in India
