Tim Lee is the current Director at Level AI. Tim has also previously served as the Founder & CEO at Avid AI from January 2015 to December 2018. Their work there was focused on bringing together the next generation sports fans in a social and personalized experience on mobile. Before that, Tim Lee was a Partner at Sequoia Capital from January 2009 to December 2015. At Sequoia Capital, they were an early stage venture capitalist, investing in the mobile ecosystem. Tim worked with companies like App Annie (board director), Bump (acquired by GOOG), Elevate, Evernote, Flipagram (acquired by Toutiao/Bytedance), Mojave Networks (board director; acquired by Sophos), Jasper Wireless (acquired by CSCO), Karma (acquired by FB), Pocket Gems, Shopular (board director; acquired by Rakuten/eBates), Thanx (board director) and Whatsapp (acquired by FB). Prior to their work at Sequoia Capital, Tim Lee was the Product Marketing Manager at Google from January 2006 to December 2008. Before that, they worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company from January 2004 to December 2006. Tim Lee's first professional role was as Segment Marketing at ARM from January 2003 to December 2003.

Tim Lee is an electrical engineer who graduated from the University of Cambridge with a MEng in electrical/information engineering. Tim then did an exchange at the Cambridge MIT Institute (CMI) where they studied electrical engineering and computer science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. After that, they completed an MBA at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
