Michael Barrett

Michael B. is a finance professional with significant experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private placements. Currently serving as a Senior Associate at Level Equity since October 2021, Michael previously held positions as an Associate and as an Analyst in the Software & Services Group at Macquarie Group, focusing on M&A and debt capital markets advisory. Michael began a career in finance at SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc., where responsibilities included cross-border M&A advisory. Notable transactions include the sale of Brookfield Renewable Partner's wind portfolio to NextEra Energy Partners, Country Pure Foods to Blue Point Capital Partners, and Quest Aircraft Company to DAHER. Michael holds a B.S. in Finance & Economics from Penn State University, completed in 2017, and attended Plymouth-Whitemarsh Senior High School.
