Colin Joyce has a diverse and extensive background in 3D art and design. In 2012, they worked as a Freelance 3D Artist for "The Occupant" iOS Horror Game, where they created environment assets, character assets, and designed visual elements. In 2015, they joined Phosphor Games as a Prop Artist & Quality Assurance team member, responsible for modeling assets and reporting bugs. Colin then moved on to Level Ex, Inc. in 2016, where they worked as a Hard Surface & Prop Artist, creating medical equipment models and textures. In 2019, they briefly worked as a Creature & Environment Artist, developing visual aesthetics and optimizing assets for a game. Most recently, Colin has taken on the role of Senior 3D Artist at Level Ex, Inc. since 2020.
Colin Joyce attended Columbia College Chicago from 2009 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Game Design - Animation, Character Modeling. Prior to that, they studied at the American Academy of Art from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration. Before their time at the American Academy of Art, Colin attended the University of Illinois Chicago from 2001 to 2003, where they focused on studying East European History, Russian, and German language, but did not earn a specific degree.
