Marty Newcomb

Marty Newcomb has a diverse range of work experience in the gaming industry. Marty is currently working at Level Ex as a Senior Level Designer. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Specialist (Senior Game Designer) at Texas A&M University from February 2019 to January 2022. Before that, they were a Senior Game Designer at Triseum from November 2016 to January 2019. Marty also served as the Lead Designer at Social Media Applications LLC from February 2013 to 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Consultant at 519 Games in September and November 2012. Marty has also worked as a Game Designer at Glu Mobile from August 2011 to June 2012, at Griptonite Games from July 2008 to August 2011, and at Amaze Entertainment from July 2008 to March 2009. Marty started their career as a Junior Designer at Backbone Entertainment in February 2006 and worked there until July 2008, where they were involved in the development of various gaming titles.

Marty Newcomb completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in History at Rhodes College from 1994 to 1998. In 2004, they pursued further education by obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Level Design from The Guildhall @ Southern Methodist University, completed in 2005.
