Level Up Gosport (Charity No. 1199682)

We’re incredibly proud to have received The King’s Award for Voluntary Service 2023 — the UK’s highest recognition for volunteer groups. 👑

At Level Up Gosport, we empower young adults aged 18–25 to build confidence and self-respect through community volunteering across Gosport. Many of the vulnerable young people we support face mild to moderate learning or physical disabilities, or challenges such as low self-esteem and anxiety.

Through volunteering, we provide the scaffolding, encouragement, and real-world experience that help our young people grow in confidence — and it works. Over 80% of those we support move on to secure employment.

Our participants have earned a strong reputation in the community and continue to inspire us with their success stories.

To build on this achievement, we’ve launched WEXi (Work EXperience I
initiative) — a targeted employment skills programme designed to help young people move into meaningful, sustainable work.

💪 Empowering. 🌱 Transformative. 💼 Future-focused.
