Mitch Slater

Mitch Slater is the Co-founder & CEO at Levered Learning. Prior to this, they worked as a teacher and administrator at various schools, including La Honda-Pescadero Unified School District, Contra Costa Jewish Day School, and Brandeis Hillel Day School.

Slater began their teaching career in 1999 at Brandeis Hillel Day School. Mitch then spent five years at Contra Costa Jewish Day School, where they served as a general studies teacher, math/science teacher, and middle school head. In 2010, they transitioned to La Honda-Pescadero Unified School District, where they worked as a 5th and 6th grade teacher before moving to the middle and high school level.

At Levered Learning, Slater is responsible for overseeing the company's operations and product development. Mitch is also a math intervention teacher and Common Core State Standards implementation team member.

Mitch Slater has a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a Multiple Subject CLAD Credential in Elementary Education and Teaching from San Jose State University.
