Matthew Reed

Matthew Reed is an experienced electrical engineering professional, currently serving as Head of Electrical Engineering at Levistor since March 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew held various leadership positions including Chief Technology Officer at Tocardo UK and Director at Unphased Engineering Services Ltd, where technical support and consultancy services were provided to the renewable industry. Notably, Matthew was Engineering Director at Marine Current Turbines Ltd, overseeing product development and innovation, and held the role of Principal Power Electronics Engineer at Bowman Power, focusing on power conditioning systems for micro turbine applications. Early career experiences include power electronics design for aerospace at GEC Marconi Aerospace and project engineering at Airscrew Howden. Matthew holds an MSc in Engineering Management from the University of Bristol and a BEng (Hons) in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sussex.
