Laura McLaughlin, PhD, is a Research and Development Scientist with extensive experience in biological sciences and toxicology. They served as a Staff Research Associate at the University of California, Berkeley, from 1997 to 1999, focusing on gene expression modulation by plant-derived antioxidants. Following this, they pursued postdoctoral research at Harvard University and Stanford University Medical Center, investigating protective mechanisms against reactive nitrogen species and Salmonella pathogenesis. Currently a Senior Scientist at LevitasBio, they also held the role of Director of Science at Holy Names University, where they contributed to the development of a new Healthcare Services and Administration major.
